Private Furnished Room in Shared Home – $700/Month (Utilities Included) – Hillandale Dr, Atlanta, GA

Hi everyone! I hope you're doing well 🙂
I have a furnished private bedroom with a shared bathroom available for rent in my home on the first floor for $700/month, utilities included.

This room is rarely available—it's nicely furnished, and the tiled bathroom is shared with just one other person.

I’m Anna, the homeowner and community manager. I’m a visiting landlady, and I’m happy to answer any questions you may have!

Room Features:

  • Twin bed & mattress

  • Blackout curtains

  • Reach-in closet

  • Sofa & rug

  • Tiled floor

  • Smart lock (personal code) + optional physical key
     (Note: Lost keys are subject to a replacement fee per the rental agreement.)

Rental Terms:

  • Fixed-term lease preferred (6 months minimum).

  • Shorter terms (minimum 3 months) may be considered for the right fit.

  •  I prioritize community harmony and expect respectful, courteous behavior

  • Move-in requires first month’s rent + $400 security deposit (refundable).

  • Rent is due monthly, on the last day of the current month for the following month.
  • All residents participate in a weekly cleaning rotation to maintain shared spaces. This includes basic tidying, wiping down surfaces, and rotating trash duties. Respect for cleanliness and cooperation is required for everyone in the household.
  • I expect tenants to be technically comfortable using DocuSign for paperwork, Zelle for payments, and to communicate via WhatsApp and email for coordination.
  • Basic cleaning supplies—such as trash bags and dish soap—are provided and regularly stocked to keep the house running smoothly.

  • Fully equipped kitchen (gas stove, oven, refrigerator with personal space, air fryer, microwave, cookware, utensils)

  • Dining room with large table (great for working, eating, or watching YouTube)

  • Laundry room with LG washer/dryer (BYO detergent)

  • Locked kitchen cabinets for personal storage

  • High-speed AT&T WiFi

  • Vivint smart home security system with app access


Location & Neighborhood: The house is conveniently located in a residential neighborhood with easy access to shopping, food, and public transportation.

🛒 Groceries & Shopping:

  • Walmart Supercenter – just 0.5 miles away (10-minute walk)

  • Kroger – also 0.5 miles away

  • Marshalls – 0.8 miles away for clothing and home goods

  • Zaxby’s – just 0.3 miles for a quick bite

🚌 Public Transit:

  • MARTA Bus 189 stops right at the corner. Another  MARTA Bus 89 is accessible with a 10-minute walk to Old National Highway

🌳 The neighborhood is peaceful and green, with pine trees around the house providing a calm and natural atmosphere. My favorite fitness, LA Fitness, is just 0.8 miles away and features a pool, sauna, and full gym.
